Hi Guys!
Happy Easter!
Enter coloured eggs and “kozunatsi”, stained fingers and kitchen countertops (anyone have any tips on how to get that out??), additional kilograms and food comas. You get the picture.
Somehow this didn’t sound too appealing, so this year I went a little non-traditional and found myself in my (so far) favourite place – Italy.
The plan was clear: 6 days, 3 cities. Sunshine, hats and sandals with the wind charmingly blowing on my hair while I sip a cappuccino in an empty of people piazza square while some Italian hunk carried my shopping bags and called me “Bella” and I possesed atleast a sprinkle of Audrey Hepburn charm (just kidding... there weren’t any hats). But you know what they say about plans right? Yeah, yeah “God laughs...” and “Best laid plans…” and all that shizzle. A “Roman Holiday” fantasy later I must be as brutally honest as possible: Florence, Venice and Bologna were still more wonderful than I imagined in my wildest dreams. Even if I did freeze. Enter Suede Jacket shopping on Day 2. That thing saved my life – also my wardrobe apparently – it was a piece I never knew I needed.
Find the entries to each city in the blog during the following days, including my shopping steals, tips and tricks and the must-east places.
Arrivederci!
