The last autumn rays

Hi guys!
Inevitably, October’s 31 days left with a bang and looks like November is here to stay. I don’t know about you, but that makes me a pinch melancholic. The early autumn colours, the leaves and soft sunlight definitely make Autumn my favourite season. And while I don’t want to undermine the beauty November brings with its fresh and crispy mornings, the smell of roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate… I would be sparing you the truth if I didn’t share that I feel as though October went by too fast.
So, over the last couple of days I knew one thing for certain: I’d be damned if I didn’t use the last of the sunshine rays to wear that pleated skirt I spent around 3 weeks actively searching for (high and low)… I am a major sucker for feminine outfits and while I enjoy a pop of colour, the demurity of the blushing pink gets me every time. The high waist of the skirt accentuates the waistline, while the pleats flatter and mask anything we may not feel comfortable with. Worn just below the knee, it certainly is my go-to outfit. I decided to pair it up with heels and a clutch, but it works just as well with ballerina flats and a tote. Shopping links below.
Catch you later guys, I have a step count to fulfill (ha! - certainly not going to happen in those high heels). Catch the rest of the shoot here and the first blog entry here!
